PS: Lesson 1 attachment is now fixed. It was messed up as I made half the file in PowerPoint and then transferred it to LibreOffice. Attached with the article (Lesson 1 )
Lesson 2 is using servos. This is lesson 2 out of 6, a series of Arduino based outreach programme for Year 10 students at a local high school in Wellington. This unit is about using a simple digital servo and understanding the difference between a servo and a motor. As a resource I recommend opening a servo and showing what’s inside to the students. It’s just a DC motor with gearing (and a chip). While you do get continuous rotation servos, most of our basic Arduino kits only come with 180 degree servos. Attachment is the slideshow for the lesson. Credits – Sam Griffen (Ex Onslow student, current Vic Eng student).
